After nearly a decade of making music side by side, Emma and Bella Burney share a creative connection that feels almost instinctive. The Huntsville-based sisters blend close harmonies and emotionally direct songwriting with an evolving indie-folk sound shaped by growing up, changing, and finding their own voices together.

Emma and Bella Burney have spent nearly a decade developing the kind of musical connection that cannot be manufactured. Based in Huntsville, Alabama, the sisters pair intricately intertwined harmonies with emotionally direct songwriting and a sound that moves between folk intimacy and atmospheric indie rock.
Both are songwriters and multi-instrumentalists. Emma performs on piano, violin, guitar, and cello, while Bella brings bass, keys, and a strong rhythmic instinct to the duo. Their songs explore love, loss, identity, resilience, and the difficult space between holding on and letting go.
